Job Description

We are recruiting for an experienced Care Assistant to work flexible hours for one of our clients in a Supported Living Scheme in Cannock. You will visit the tenants and see to their needs, ensuring they are happy and enjoying life in their individual home within the stylish apartment scheme. We can offer you complete flexibility around your other commitments, weekly pay, 28 days annual holiday (pro rota), free parking and free update training.

As a Care Assistant working in a Supported Living complex, you will be required to support the tenants with meal preparation, cleaning and perhaps prompting of medication. There is not a lot of hoisting or personal care involved, but you would need to be prepared to do this if necessary.

There are various shifts available to meet the hours that you want – Earlies, Lates, Long days and Nights. We are happy to work with any availability however we can not offer school hours due to the shift pattern of the Retirement Village that we work with.

An enhanced DBS will be required for this role.

We would love to hear from you, if you have recent previous experience as a Care Assistant, Carer or Support Worker either in Residential Care or in the Community.

There is no requirement for you to drive as the supported living scheme we work with is on a major bus route so easily commutable from Heath Hayes, Hednesford, Great Wyrley, Norton Canes and Four Crosses.
