    Karen has worked in care for over five years. She joined Cream in August 2018, as she wanted flexible on going work around her other commitments. Karen had previously worked in a number of care settings including Residential Care and Nursing homes. Karen is a very pleasant and friendly staff member, who is a joy to work with. She is very reliable and we have received excellent feedback from all care homes Karen has worked at.

    Sonia has been with Cream since June 2015 and is one of our regular night workers. Just this week we’ve had some fantastic feedback from a new Home Manager about her performance. She always works the same shifts every week and is very, very reliable. We’re delighted to have kept Sonia busy for so long and hope that she will still be a valued member of the Cream Team in another 4 years’ time!!!

    This month Joseph has been chatting with Debbie Palmer, a Care Assistant working with our Stoke-On-Trent branch.
    Debbie has been with us for just under a year is and is one of our ‘weekend warriors’, always happy to cover shifts on the weekend and for that Debbie, we can’t thank you enough. Debbie’s warm smile and upbeat personality has our clients asking for her to come back to homes time and time again. Here at Base we understand that, as just talking to Debbie on the phone will put a smile on your face!

    This month we’ve been chatting to Chloe Bishop, a Care Assistant working with our Walsall Branch.

    With a back ground in residential care, Chloe joined us in September 2017 because she wanted to find flexible work to fit around her Studies. Chloe has a passion for care and a natural desire to help others and we know that she will go on to be a great Mental Health Nurse, once qualified.

    This month, we’ve been chatting to Jo Astle, a Care Assistant working with our Walsall branch.

    Jo has been working in the care sector for over 6 years. She first got into care as she was studying for a degree in psychology and biology and wanted to experience a more hands on approach. Jo has experience working with a variety of client groups including elderly, learning disabilities, mental health, dementia and physical impairment.

    Jo presents herself as a professional, empathic, caring person who strives to provide best care and support in ever home she works at. She is very approachable and is always a pleasure to chat to.

    This month, Joseph has been chatting to Cream Team member Irene, a Care Worker from Stoke-On-Trent.

    Irene has only been working with us since the middle of June but it already feels as though she has been with us for much longer! Irene’s experience is exactly what we look for here at Cream and this has been reflected by the glowing feedback Irene has been receiving from the homes. Irene has even been working at some of our most challenging homes and has taken this all in her stride and has been rebooked directly by the homes. Even though Irene has only been with us for 2 months, we hope that she’ll be with us for years to come!

    This month, Jo has been chatting with Katie Walker, a Care Assistant working with our Walsall branch.

    Katie is currently studying an adult nursing course at Staffordshire University. She joined Cream just over 10 months ago and has been a member of staff we can always rely on. She is a very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and conscientious, with a friendly outgoing personality. In Katie’s words “I enjoy working with people and being able to make a difference, offering quality care and support.” Katie is a valued member of staff and we hope she will continue to enjoy being part of the ‘Cream Team’.

    This month, Vicky has been chatting with Georgina Anyan, a Care Assistant working with our Walsall branch.

    Georgina has been working in the Health & Social care sector since 2011, and has a wide variety of experience. Georgina has worked for Cream Health Care previously and left to gain further experience in domiciliary and home care. However Georgia missed the flexibility of working for an agency and decided to rejoin Cream. Georgia is a very hard working, diligent, passionate and professional member of staff who we are proud to have as part of the team.

    Shazia has 3 years’ experience working with the elderly in their own homes, in residential care settings and domiciliary care. Since joining us nearly 6 months ago, Shazia’s work has been faultless and we have received the most amazing feedback from every home she has worked in. Shazia always has a huge smile on her face and is an absolute pleasure to work with.
