Kelly Plant - Care Worker, South Staffs Branch

Kelly has a real passion to work in Care. She joined Cream with excellent references, has a brilliant attitude and we are really happy to have her on board. Kelly is very flexible and always gives 100% when she works. Kelly quite often helps out last minute and is very flexible to travel to help out with shift cover. Kelly is an asset to the team and we are so lucky to have Kelly as part of the South Staffs Branch.

Here’s what Kelly had to say about working as a Care Worker for Cream Health Care:

“It was caring for my Nan whilst she was ill that made me realise I had a real passion for care. I had done my first year in nursing and then joined Cream Health Care. Once I had started with Cream I realised that I didn’t want to do nursing as I preferred more care work and more personal care.

I’ve been working for Cream Health & Social Care for 15 months and it’s great, I love it.

I love the staff and everyone that works in the office. They are all friendly and helpful and all the homes that I go to are really nice. I never met a member of Cream staff that I haven’t got on with. Cream are very understanding of situations and if I have any issues i.e. problems with any shifts or any problems that I am having at homes they sort it for me.

Cream Health Care know that I love working at Limewood and Braken House. I love how both homes are run and I love the service users and the staff at the homes are very friendly and supportive. Most of the time, Limewood is offered to me, if I’m free, I take the shift. However I have been sent to other homes which I do enjoy, but prefer Limewood.”
