Lisa Sumner – Care Assistant – Stoke-On-Trent Branch

This month Jo has been chatting with Lisa, a care assistant working with our Stoke-On-Trent branch.

We wanted to know what it’s really like to work for Cream Health Care and what Lisa’s specialities, passions and favourite care homes are.

“Amazing! I love working for Cream and I am so glad that I joined. I feel that I am supported 110% by the branch, the office staff are always there to help and they are very approachable. The hours are great, I am limited to what hours I can work and the office staff always make sure I get these hours.”

“I don’t have a favourite. All of the homes I have worked at have been fantastic and really welcoming. I also enjoy using different skills which are individual to each home.”

Lisa found herself pulled to a career in care as she has always had a caring nature and has always wanted to look after people.

Lisa has a wealth of experience with elderly, hospitals and learning disabilities and has gained a NVQ 2 & 3 in Health & Social Care. Lisa only joined Cream Health Care 7 months ago and the feedback we have received for Lisa from all of the homes she has worked at has been fantastic. She is a great asset to the Cream team and we know we can always rely on Lisa.
