Wendy Bailey – Care Worker – Stoke-On-Trent

Friday, November 3, 2017

Wendy has been a fantastic reliable member of staff since she started working for us 6 weeks ago. The feedback we have received from all of the homes she had worked at has been really positive.

Wendy has 11 years’ experience working in the care sector. She has worked in residential and the community, working with dementia, domiciliary and end of life clients.  Wendy has completed her level 2 in Health and Social Care and is working towards her level 3.  She is a very dedicated carer who always gives 100% and is an asset to Cream Health Care.

Here’s what Wendy had to say about working for us:

“When I was younger I started at my nurse training. After a while I realised that care was the path I wanted to follow on the more practical side, a more hands on approach rather than theory.

I love working for Cream Health Care! I like the flexibility of the work as I also work as a Crossing Patrol Warden (Lollipop lady J). I get the amount of hours that I want each week too which is great.

The branch staff are really approachable and I feel supported. I regularly pop by the office to drop my timesheets off and for a quick chat. They keep me well informed for example, feedback from new homes that I have worked at which I have never experienced with previous employers.

I prefer nursing/residential care homes as I like to be kept busy and the branch always accommodates this. I also have enjoyed all of the Choices homes that I have worked at so far.”
