Dignity Action Month 2022

Tuesday, February 1, 2022

February is Dignity Action month and today is Dignity Action Day and this year’s theme is Put undignified care to bed on Dignity Action Day - Wear Red.

We have all got behind the theme in the office today and we are all wearing Red to help put undignified care to bed. Cream Health Care will also be making a donation to The National Dignity Council to help them keep up their important work.

This year The National Dignity Council wants to continue to support champions by developing further resources but also target their actions on areas where they know the campaign could change people’s lives significantly.

They are particularly wanting to engage with younger people and adults with cognitive disabilities; continue to support the promotion of equality and human rights, deliver ‘podcasts’, developing a training pack for managers and making additions to their suite of audits enabling their Dignity Champions and others to be more effective in delivering services embedded with the fundamentals of Dignity - Kindness, Compassion and Respect.

How can you get involved in Dignity Action Month?
