Why choose agency care work?

If you would like to have the flexibility to pick and choose your hours and you enjoy working in a wide variety of residential settings to expand your skill set; agency care work could be for you!

Here at Cream Health Care, we aren’t like any other care agency. We know that the secret to our success is our team and we know that if they aren’t happy, then our Client’s service user’s aren’t happy, so we respect and look after our team.

We will offer you the following:

You can work when you want to work – You give us your availability at the end of every week – days and hours and we’ll only give you shifts for these times. You can work full time, 40+ hours a week or part time around a permanent job, childcare, studies or just your life.

“I find Cream great to work for as they always have shifts for me and all the staff are really lovely and willing to help. The hours are flexible around my childcare. I can pick up as much or as little as I want.” Fatou Barrow – Care Worker – Walsall Branch

Work where you want to work – We will always place you in the homes that you enjoy working at.

Varied Work – Increase your skill set by working in a variety of different residential settings. Many of our staff love the variety of settings and really enjoy using and enhancing their different skills.

“I like each home I go to for different reasons and by going to various homes gives me a nice variety of work and keeps things interesting.” Shed Williams – Support Worker – Walsall Branch

Full support from base - If you’ve had a tricky shift then we are always available to talk things through with you. You will always receive feedback following your first shift at a new home

“I love working for Cream and I am so glad that I joined. I feel that I am supported 110% by the branch, the office staff are always there to help and they are very approachable. The hours are great, I am limited to what hours I can work and the office staff always make sure I get these hours. All of the homes I have worked at have been fantastic and really welcoming. I also enjoy using different skills which are individual to each home.” Lisa Sumner – Care Assistant – Stoke-On-Trent Branch

Commitment – Although you will be a “temp”, many of our staff have been with us for over 5 years. Some have taken and been paid for Maternity Leave.

Health & Safety Induction at the start of your first shift at a new home – including fire procedures.

“It’s really good…. [working for Cream Health Care]. It’s far better than working in the community. I know where I am, what I’m doing and I feel a lot more organised thanks to the support I get from Dave and Vicky at the Walsall office. Plus I can access mywebroster, and see what shifts I have at any time. I also enjoy the flexibility around my studies and other commitments. I am able to work when I want and where I want, with no pressure from the branch to take shifts if I don’t wish to.” Amber Large - Care Worker - Walsall

Other benefits:

  • Weekly Pay direct into your bank

  • 28 days annual leave – accrued on the hours that you work
