Mcdonald Nkosi - Care Worker, Stoke-On-Trent
Thursday, July 6, 2017
McDonald has worked for Cream Health Care for four years and has become our ‘go to’ guy whenever we get in a pickle. If we have a shift that needs cover, McDonald will always come to the rescue with his continual flexibility. McDonald is always so jolly that he is welcomed with smiles and hugs when working at his favourite homes. Thanks for you all your hard work over the last 4 years McDonald, here’s too many more!
McDonald got into care because he wanted to care for elderly people and also wanted to learn more about human beings. McDonald thinks it’s quite sad that care homes are short of staff which drives his passion to work in care and to make a difference to peoples live.
Joseph sat down with McDonald to find out what’s it like to work for Cream?
I have worked for several agencies and Cream are the most organised. If you ask for any help, you will always get it. I’m always supported by the branch, if I need any extra shifts, Cream will always go out of their way to get something for me. The office will help you whether you want a lot of shifts or whether would only like a few, that’s why the hours suit me so well.
I’m very happy to go anywhere that Cream Health Care send me to. I enjoy working at new homes and equally enjoy re-visiting some homes that I may have not worked at for some time. My favourite home to work with is Collinson Court. The staff are very lovely there as are the residents.
