This month, Jo has been chatting to Cream Team member Shazia, a Care Worker from Stoke-On-Trent.
Shazia has 3 years’ experience working with the elderly in their own homes, in residential care settings and domiciliary care. Since joining us nearly 6 months ago, Shazia’s work has been faultless and we have received the most amazing feedback from every home she has worked in. Shazia always has a huge smile on her face and is an absolute pleasure to work with.
Jo wanted to know why Shazia chose a career in care and what she thinks about working for Cream Health Care.
What got you into care?
I always thought about a career in care and wanted to work with the elderly. It makes me really happy and I really enjoy my job.
What’s it like to work for Cream?
Amazing! I’m so happy I joined.
Do you feel like you are supported by the branch?
I always feel supported by the office staff….yes!!
Do your hours suit you?
Yes, I regularly get the hours that I want and suit. I am very pleased that they met my needs.
Do you have any specialities, passions or favourite care homes? Does Cream try to place you at care homes where they know you enjoy?
All of the homes I have worked in have been great and I don’t have any favourites. I’m happy to work anywhere.
